Suitable for the production of main lines and for the fastening of the hooks

The Gatulot monofilament fishing lines come from the need of the classic fisherman: having a line that has an excellent quality from a mechanical point of view and is able to combine softness, linear resistance, good elongation under tension and good knot resistance.

Several products were considered and, based on personal experience and the results of tests carried out, the fishing line from the Gatulot line were chosen.
The first positive feedback was received immediately from the other fishermen and so the commercialisation of the first lines began.
The line has since expanded to cover different types of fishing in different environments, sea, lake, stream, etc....

Luminous pulsing indicator of touch

Luminous pulsing indicator of touch

With a support quick to engage and disengage

Gatulot products also include intermittent luminous pulsing indicators of touch with a support quick to engage and disengage for rods for ground fishing in sea, lakes and rivers.
Applicable to rods for ground fishing both from shore in lakes, rivers and seas. Luminous indicators alert fishermen of the presence of fish when it touches the bait. The intermittent luminous pulsing indicator almost totally eliminates false alarms, even in strong river currents and turbulence in rough seas and/or in the presence of floating algae.

The intermittent luminous pulsing indicator indicator was in fact tested for shore fishing in rough seas and in the presence of floating algae and provided no false alarms. Its functionality under these extreme conditions was also tested by simulating the touch of the fish, pulling the line about 1 cm between the reel and the line, and the light indicators worked.

The touch inflicted on the bait is similar to the touch generally inferred by a small size fish.

Quick support to engage and disengage

Intermittent luminous pulsing indicators of touch

The intermittent luminous pulsing indicator of touch is made up of two parts: the supportand the indicator itself.

The intermittent luminous pulsing indicator of touch is suggested for fishing:
  • from the shore of a lake with calm waters and/or currents;
  • from the shore of a river with calm waters and/or currents;
  • at the seaside;
  • in ports or little harbors;
  • from rocky coasts (high or low) with rocky seabed;
  • from rocky coasts (high or low) with mixed seabed (rocks and sand);
  • from rocky coasts with sandy seabed;
  • from the beach.
More information

The intermittent luminous pulsing indicator of touch with a support quick to engage and disengage for rods for ground fishing is:

  • The device alerts the fisherman when the fish touches the bait.
  • The device avoid almost all the false alarms, even by strong currents in rivers and lakes, choppy sea and seaweed adrift.
  • The intermittend luminous pulsing indicator of touch was tested for shore fishing in choppy seas and seaweed adrift and provided no false alarms. Its functionality was also tested under extreme conditions by simulating the touch of the fish and pulling the line about 1 cm between the reel and the rod tip: the indicator worked very well.
  • The touch is similar to the one usually created by a small size fish.
  • The intermittent luminous pulsing indicator of touch is attached on the holder by screwing.
  • The support should be attached to the rod top by exerting a slight pressure sufficient to expand the slot until it is fully inserted.
  • Once the holder is fitted to the top of the rod, simply drop it down to lock it in place, being careful that the pressure is not too exaggerated to avoid breaking the rod and/or the holder.
  • In order to avoid inconveniences, it is always recommended to check that the diameter of the support opening is suitable for the diameter of the reel.
  • Once you have finished fishing, it is recommended that you disassemble the holder by sliding it toward the top of the rod.
  • To increase the battery life of the intermittent light indicator, it is recommended to remove the cap and disconnect the power batteries.
  • Battery life is excellent: you can get light-impulse signals for 35 to 40 hours continuously.
  • A simple touch causes a sequence of about 16 bright flashes (depending on models)-more than enough for proper illumination-for a complete duration of about 10 seconds.
  • The duration and effectiveness of the intermittent luminous pulsing indicator of touch over time depend on proper battery storage. Good and proper battery storage can theoretically guarantee 12.600/14.400 touch sequences for the duration described above.
  • If we consider that, under the best fishing conditions, 20 to 30 sequences of maximum flashes produced by the different touches and/or bites in each night of fishing are possible, the device can be used, considering a duration of 35 hours, for about 630/420 fishing nights.
  • The advantages of this device far outweigh those of currently used devices. In comparison, chemical action devices and conventional battery-powered devices switch off after a few hours.
  • The intermittent luminous pulsing indicator of touch alerts the fisherman only at the touch of a fish at the bite without false alarms, silently, thanks to a monochromatic intermittent light beam visible at several tens of meters.

Pulsar

Pulsar

Intermittent luminous pulsing indicator of touch

Pulsar is an intermittent luminous pulsing indicator of touch equipped with a movement-sensitive element that is activated by the slightest touch. Due to its extremely light weight and touch sensitivity, it is recommended for fishing on shore or from rocks, at sea or lake.

The intermittent luminous pulsing indicator of touch is activated by the simple touch of the fish: a sensitive element intercepts the vibrations produced by the touch and automatically activates the light indicator that makes visible to the fisherman which rod has been the object of the fish's attentions. Ideal for ground fishing for eels and night-caught fishes.

Pulsar is made of plastic material and offered with a set of 3 batteries that allow more than 35 hours of continuous flashing. This indicator has a caoutchouc ring that protects it from any form of moisture that may harm its proper functioning.

Super Nova

Super Nova

Intermittent luminous pulsing indicator of touch

It is suggested only for shore fishing and for the fans of carp-fishing and for fishing of sheat-fishies.
Super Nova is an intermittent luminous pulsing indicator with a higher sensitivity than the other models. It is capable of receiving the smallest vibrations produced by the touch of a carp and is equipped with a very motion-sensitive element. Despite this sensitivity, it is insensitive to wind, algae and currents, if the line is tout and the weight of the plumb bob is suitable for the circumstances. Super Nova issuggested for fishing in lakes and rivers. Its weight is not an obstacle during the retrieval phase. It is made of aluminium and it is sold with a set of three long-life cells that grant intense luminous and lasting flashes.

Super Nova is provided with a rubber ring that protects it from any form of humidity. The indicator is activated byt the mere touch of the fish: an inner sensor detects the vibrations caused byt he touch and activates automatically the signalling light, which indicates and makes more visible to the fisher which bait has been struck by the fish.
